ON the year 2012 St.michael college of engineering and technology set forward the step in establishing most dynamic leap in the college history, by bringing out the most prefered engineering branch in the world “THE MECHANICAL” in the college educational arena.
Mechanical Engineering is one of the most creative, broadest and most versatile of the engineering professions. Mechanical Engineers have initiated and implemented commendable progress in innovative areas like robotics, bio-engineering, microprocessor control, energy conversion, energy management, fluid dynamics, power production, manufacturing, computer-aided design, machine design, and material science. Collectively, the faculty has practical experience, solving real problems in these areas and with this experience they help students develop as transformational leaders.
The Department of Mechanical Engineering offers one program of undergraduate study. The traditional program leads to a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, which is a more structured program that prepares students for a broader range of career options in the field of Mechanical engineering and is intended for students whose career objectives require greater flexibility in order to combine the essential elements of the traditional Mechanical engineering program with study in another, complementary field.
